The Cross on the lookout is shining again! Big thanks to the generous work of Ryan Alderton from One Flash Electrical and Trevor Kelly Builder. Support them! And the patience of Tamworth Regional Council who gave us space to fix what was our problem.

Does anyone remember Archdeacon Richard Daunton Fear? He was vicar of St. John’s Carthage Street from 1960 to 1965. After his wife, Alison died in UK, their children discovered 100 scripts of talks she had given and they were really good. Many were given in Tamworth. She often used to do a late night epilogue on 2TM. Forty of those short talks have just been published under the title, “Treasures from a Deep Mine” It is available as a book or e-book from Amazon.

Every few years our local Christian radio station, Rhema FM 89.7 Tamworth needs to do a survey of our listening community. It will help if a number of local people could do it. It will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and will close on the 9th of April 2021. The survey can be accessed via this link: https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/6140450/2b03daf5779f

Our high school Scripture teachers are back on the job
– Belinda Gonsalves at Oxley
– Darrel Mole at Peel, Farrer, Manilla, Tamworth.
They need two things:
a) lots of people praying that God will change hearts to Him.
b) support from parents. Students do not get put in Scripture classes any more, unless the parents ask for it on the enrolment form. Consequently, many classes are very small. We need parents to say YES on the enrolment form and to let the school know that they want Scripture at their school.
Has your church had a Scripture teacher focus lately? Andrew Wilcher 0412 449 918 can organise one for you. There is also a 3 minute video you could show in church on https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fapoqNuXaNKlArEzeF7uXlQ53B4i2kRV/view?usp=sharing
